Bass lesson prices and how booking works
Getting started
New players begin with a thirty-minute introductory session: a chance to meet, get a sense of where you are on your journey, and see whether we’re a good fit. Get in touch about booking lessons and we’ll arrange a time.
Introductory session
£20 30 minutes
A short first session at the standard rate. Meet, talk about your goals, play a little, and see how it feels.
Single session
£40 per hour
Standalone or recurring. An hour is the default and I recommend at least one a week. Shorter and longer sessions are available on request, charged pro rata.
Ten-hour block

Ten hours of sessions, diarised up front and valid for four months.
I’m currently opening a small number of new teaching slots. To enquire about a session or a regular time, send a message. Questions first? The FAQ covers the common ones.
How booking works
- An hour is the default: shorter and longer sessions can be arranged on request, charged pro rata.
- Booking is by the contact form: we’ll find times that suit you, as a one-off or a weekly slot.
- Payment in advance confirms your session: unpaid sessions aren’t held, so the time may be taken by other bookings. The introductory session can be paid on the day or by invoice afterwards.
- Everything goes in the calendar: bookings sync with my Google Calendar, and the portal gives you a calendar link that keeps your phone up to date, so we’re always working from the same times.
- Confirmed sessions can move: by mutual agreement, at any time.
- 48 hours’ notice reschedules at no cost: shorter notice usually means the fee is forfeited, though I apply discretion when life happens.
- Notes and your member portal are included: after each session you get a written summary, This week’s objectives and any materials, all kept in your own login with your bookings and the Shed, your practice tools.
